Refund policy
1. Non-Refundable Deposit: All deposits paid in relation to cake and/or cupcake orders are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
2. Changes, Postponement, and Cancellations:
• Clients may request changes, postponements, or cancellations of their cake and/or cupcake orders no later than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
• In the event of cancellation or postponement occurring at least five (5) business days prior to the scheduled pick-up time, any payments made (excluding the non-refundable deposit) may be transferred to another order, provided that such order is placed within six (6) months from the date of the original order.
• No refunds will be provided for any payments made towards the order, irrespective of the amount paid or the circumstances under which the cancellation or postponement occurs, including but not limited to Covid-related lockdowns.
3. Alterations in Alert Levels:
• Should there be a change in alert levels (as defined by applicable government guidelines), the notice period for cancellation or postponement shall be reduced to a minimum of three (3) business days prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
• If the scheduled pick-up falls within seventy-two (72) hours of the cancellation or postponement request, the order may not be eligible for cancellation or postponement if the cake has already been decorated.
4. Agreement to Terms:
• By making a deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
